Ease of Use & User Experience
BetterPic is easy to use.
The hardest part is picking the photos you want.
After that, it only takes a few minutes.
To start creating, sign up to BetterPic first.
Upload a bunch of photos of yourself and answer a few quick questions about your look.

Now send your photos so the tool knows what you look like.
Make sure to read the instructions carefully.

After you upload your photos, it takes 30–90 minutes to get your headshots, depending on the plan.
I chose the Expert plan since it comes with human edits and gives you 100+ images.
Results, Quality & Accuracy of Headshots
Here are the results I got from BetterPic.
This one’s my favorite:

Looks just like me. You can’t really tell the one on the right is AI-made. I’m even using it as my LinkedIn photo right now.
And you don’t just get one image—you get a full set, depending on the package.
Here are more headshots BetterPic made for me:

I think these shots are amazing. I showed them to friends and family, and they couldn’t believe they weren’t real.
Of course, AI is a bit of a gamble. Not every photo will be perfect, and results can vary.
That’s why BetterPic gives you options to customize things like background, clothes, eye color, skin tone, and more.
There’s even a human edit feature, which I’ll cover next.

Here are more AI headshots that I got from BP:

Pretty amazing, right? Those look almost identical to me—just with better lighting and clothes.
If you look really close, you can spot small flaws. Sometimes the stare feels blank, or the skin looks too smooth.
Customization & Style Options
I like BetterPic because it offers a lot of styles to pick from.

You can mix locations, outfits, and colors to create three styles.
That gives you corporate, creative, and casual headshots.
When you get your images, you can also customize them—change the background, eye color, or even have a human editor make fixes.

The human editor can even adjust expressions and features.
For example, I asked them to remove a necklace from one of my photos.
Here’s the version with the necklace:

And here’s the photo with my necklace removed:

So cool—and the necklace was removed perfectly.
This is great if you’re making headshots for a team. Everyone can get at least one image they like.
Note: this feature is only in the Expert plan.
Speed & Processing Time
Be ready to spend up to two hours to get your headshots.
For me, the hardest part was picking 8–16 good photos. That took about 30 minutes. The AI then needed at least another 30 minutes to render, sometimes longer.
You don’t need to keep the window open. BetterPic will email you when your headshots are ready.
Pricing & Value for Money

BetterPic offers three pricing plans:
- Basic: $35
- Pro: $39
- Expert: $79
These are one-time payments, no subscription.
The pricing feels fair for the quality. Other tools cost about the same but don’t offer customization or refunds.
I recommend the Expert plan. It gives you more headshots, which matters since AI results can be hit or miss. Out of 100 images, you’re almost guaranteed to get a handful of great ones.
No hidden fees, but editing does cost credits you can buy when needed.
