Affogato is an AI tool for creating short videos from text.
I just created this ad with it with one 10-word input:
Crazy, huh?
The way this tool works is that you give it an idea, and it creates a video with a script, visuals, voice, music, and captions.
It is made for ads, TikToks, Reels, and product demos in general.
Let me show you how it works, more results, and my overall opinion on it.

My Experience
Now, let me show you how to use this tool and the results I got with it.
To create with Affogato Agent, first, head over to their app.

Then, upload an image of what you want to create a video about.
For example, I’ll drop an image of this can of Coke.

Then, tell the AI what you want to create your video about and in what style.
For instance, I’ll tell the AI to create a “Create a Halloween-inspired TikTok ad for this Coca-Cola can.”

Then, you can choose your character from the “Character” list. I’ll use the Auto, but feel free to try any other AI actor.

First, the AI will create a script for your video, given your instructions.

You can edit these instructions if you want to. You can also tweak each scene by creating a new image or giving video prompts.
But as the first test, I just wanted to create the video as is.
Then just process the video. The AI will take 5–10 minutes to create your scenes.

For example, my video has seven separate short scenes that the AI is now working on.
Because it would otherwise feel slow, they’ll render each clip as they get ready.
Here’s my sample video:
That is insanely good, isn’t it? I mean, yes, it’s a bit generic. But c’mon. This is way, way better than what I expected. I literally gave it one prompt, and this is what I got.
But maybe this was just a lucky strike. Let’s give it another run. This time, I’ll use one of my images of a sweater on my friend’s brand.

I wanted to create a tennis-related TikTok for this piece of merch, since it’s a tennis brand.
Here are the scenes that the AI created:

I tweaked those just a touch with the timeline editor.

And off we go! Let’s see what we get this time. Other than that, I think this script and the scenes look good. So I just asked the AI to create the video.
Here’s the result:
This is so cool. Especially the first three scenes look so real.
Also, the voices and everything is there and looks so natural.
The only problems are the last two scenes when you have objects behaving in an unworldly way. For example, the last clip shows a tennis racket sliding through the shirt.
But this is easy to fix.
You can either generate a new scene, upload your own image, modify the image, or even by giving it a video prompt.

Just modify the script or regenerate the video.
Pricing

- Standard: $14 per month. Best for small creators.
- Ultra: $41 per month. For growing businesses.
- Pro Max: $151 per month. For agencies or heavy use.
- Enterprise: Custom pricing with extra credits and support.
Credits roll over each month. Annual plans are cheaper.
Core Features
Let me quickly also mention some of the core features of this tool.
- Type your idea and get a draft video in minutes
- Custom avatars or upload your own characters
- Voiceover options in many languages with lip sync
- Automatic music and captions
- Simple editing to replace clips or change pacing
- Add logos, fonts, and product shots for branding
As you can see, it’s quite a tool. And most of these features aren’t just talk but they actually work unlike I’ve seen before.
Pros
- This is so much easier and cheaper than hiring an agency to do this
- The tool is ridiculously easy to use. Just drop an image and describe in one or two sentences what you want to do with it.
- You can edit every scene and take pretty much full control what the AI creates if the results aren’t what you expected.
- There are lots of AI actors to choose from.
Cons
- The tool is a bit slow and also sometimes laggy. There’s no progress bar and you don’t really know when it’s going to be ready.
- Short video limits on cheaper plans
- Higher plans are costly (although I wouldn’t call it that since it would be 10–100X more costly to hire a team to do this).
- Some videos need fixing before use. There were far less AI quirks in the videos than I expected, but still, some scenes just weren’t usable. I had to recreate and edit those.
Final Thoughts
Affogato Agent is an epic AI video ad and TikTok/YouTube shorts generator. This tool can save you time and the results are surprisingly good.
Also, unlike most AI video generators, this tool also takes care of the audio.
In my test clips, I had people talking and music playing. So it’s not just a muted clip.
The clips are 20 seconds in length, which is great for short-form content platforms.
Also, I can’t say it’s perfect, just like no other similar tool is.
First of all, the results are still generic, although very impressive.
Also, some of the clips are uncanny and quirky, just like you migh expect from AI tools. Some clips just were unusable.
But you can fix this by giving guidance to the tool either with new images, video prompts, or text edits.
I absolutely love it. And my friend did as well, since I made an ad for him and his new clothing brand.
We were both surprised by the quality and would call it at least 10x better than we’d expect based on what we’ve seen in the past from similar tools.
